Night Shift

I was going to cook up a final post to tide you over while I'm away for a week on the West Coast doing a mural commission for the room of a friend's 3 year old daughter (safari/jungle theme). But I actually have some non-VTK work to do before I leave, so I'm going to leave you hanging on that. There's a small chance that I'll do a staggered live blog of the project, but I may just document it and post about it when I get back. We'll see. As a consolation, please enjoy this unrelated footage of The Commodores singing Night Shift on Solid Gold (inspired by the latest Duffless Foundation post):

Marvin... Marvin...

We are now just The Foundation - - as our main reader, please support our rebranding efforts - our consultants weren't cheap!

Why the rebranding?

Duffless said...

For a variety of reasons - one involving internet trolls, the other because we've always wanted to change the name - as it was literally only just my blog for about 1 hour - so why should it just have my name on it.

Plus if we rebrand, we can increase shareholder value - and better leverage our key core competencies ;-)

Going forward, that sounds like a workable re-org strategy.

But it will drop you down several spots on the VTK blog list. Just fyi.

I don't think I've heard that song since high school.

It kind of adds something to the song, having learned about Marvin Gaye in the interim.

Don't forget Jackie Wilson!

but yeah, I feel the same way

Chin up Dan,

Those Steelers will bounce back.

V Sattui, eh? I've actually only been out of the house once since I got here. They keep me locked in the bedroom with the paints. But they took me out to a party last night and who did I bump into but a guy I went to high school with. Small world indeed. Small town, small party, and bam there's some dude I used to play soccer with in the 80's.

I didn't see it or read about it, Joel, but that is an absolutely inexcusable result. They will win bugger all this year.
